Sharing this review that I am writing for Amazon:
Been using this for 10 days now. I keep it in the living room and every hour or so I pick it up do 10-20 reps. 1- It is rather heavy, so even if you use the lowest setting you'd still have to be strong enough to wield this. 2- I have a bad shoulder but after using this for a few days I feel that strengthening the surrounding shoulder muscles has helped take the load off the injured area. 3- Be sure to check or tighten the screws and nuts every once in a while. 4- Squeaks! 5- It utilizes a hydraulic piston so it will not give you much resistance if you go very slow. 6- It can work a few other muscles by changing position, grip, etc. but primarily works the shoulders and upper chest.
That's interesting that if you go slow it doesn't give as much resistance. That in itself sounds like it could be a good thing, as a slow controlled pace may promote good form in the gym. That being said, items like this end up at your local used vendors all the time for under $10.

I use it to help with constipation. It works great for me!

However, I am yet to look like a guy in pictures. But hey, there is always hope. Smilie

The guy in the picture has started looking like you are using this for a few weeks.

Combine this with the Shakey Weight and you have a complete home gym solution.....
That's exactly what I was thinking. The Shake Weight used to be my favorite white elephant gift. This is pretty funny too.

A lot of people laughing at this but I don't see this product replacing a gym routine. I see this product being used when you are sitting on the couch watching tv. I would use it all the time that way.

I can see this improving the use of tools like loppers, bolt cutters, and cable crimpers.

Got one sent it back for a replacement, thought it was broken, got the second one same thing- you put it on the hardest setting and you start squeezing and it just slowly depresses to the point where it's fully collapsed, also if you pause there's no resistance. You can't use it to get real resistance, only to put it on a moderate amount maybe 200 lbs and then just pump the thing.
I thought I would be starting off at 200 lbs or so and then the more I used it working my way up, but that's not how these things work
totally lame 'in my opinion', send it back.
I used to have one of the heavy duty screen spring ones, those are great more range of motion involved as well
