The main problem is developing the habbit of doing the routine, I promise this gimmick device will not help you in any way have a well balanced strength training habbit or healthy life style. You have to do the work to get the result.

Been using this for 10 days now. I keep it in the living room and every hour or so I pick it up do 10-20 reps. 1- It is rather heavy, so even if you use the lowest setting you'd still have to be strong enough to wield this. 2- I have a bad shoulder but after using this for a few days I feel that strengthening the surrounding shoulder muscles has helped take the load off the injured area. 3- Be sure to check or tighten the screws and nuts every once in a while. 4- Squeaks! 5- It utilizes a hydraulic piston so it will not give you much resistance if you go very slow. 6- It can work a few other muscles by changing position, grip, etc. but primarily works the shoulders and upper chest.
However, I am yet to look like a guy in pictures. But hey, there is always hope.

I thought I would be starting off at 200 lbs or so and then the more I used it working my way up, but that's not how these things work
totally lame 'in my opinion', send it back.
I used to have one of the heavy duty screen spring ones, those are great more range of motion involved as well
