I'm thinking about getting a new set just so I don't have to sort all the loose bits I already have

Just ordered couple different sets of theirs, seen this one while searching for shop supplies. Not a fan of these pilot point bits, they likely only work with soft materials vs starting from small to size after when drilling steel. And if so, then a regular bit is just fine.
Seems more of a gimmick to me vs traditional 135 split tip.

These are very good bits. I use them for softer materials and when I don't want to wear out my expensive cobalt bits.

I saw these tested against other higher priced bits and they did well so guess in for set of these as well...
