Why not dig out the top soil underneath it? Then have 2 feet of substrate.

So this seemed like a good price until I realized it's only 1 foot tall. That's too shallow for most things you'd want to plant. Additionally, this was as low as $19.19 less than a month ago, so this isn't a good deal at all. Pass.

This doesn't seem to be any better/different than any other basic 4x2x1' steel garden bed, and there are others available for less, like this for $19.99 or a 2-pack for $36.98: https://a.co/d/00pnwZXO

Not easily. When you drill them to add hardware to build up they will start rusting since you will remove the galvanization, and if you didn't do a great job it will fall over and make a mess

It's deep enough for most veggies. I hah okra grew over 7 feet tall in the bed this size last year.

You better be ready for a yard full of mint. Because this isn't containing mint. It has a open bottom.

I have been successfully growing tomatoes, egg plants, bell pepper, zucchini, melons, cucumbers in raised beds with less than 12 inches deep. Deeper beds will help for sure but 12 inches is enough.
