Functional trainer arms are getting better than the original ones. Every brand is racing to come out with longer functional trainer arms to provide wider, higher, narrower pull points, and everything in between.
Mikolo has such functional trainer arms for the M4 and K6 models which are 2x2 inch frames for $199 for a pair. Nice. . Longer functional trainer arms means you can bring the pull points closer together to link them with a shorter bracket to combine the weight stacks for a LAT pull or a ROW pull which makes the weight stack 1:1 ratio pull weight. The total 230lb weights of the combined stacks will now feel like 230lbs, and there are weight plate horns to add weight plates if you need more. So you get 2:1 ratio for the traditional lower resistance functional trainer use which provides long cable pulls and the ability to combine stacks for 1:1 ratio for the heavier LAT and ROW pulls... nice again.

And the M4 2.0 with selectable weight stacks, Smith machine, etc. dropped in price to $1599.99. Aluminum wheel pulleys too... nice. These are suppose to be steel plates, not cement, which is nice. If you are first time to Mikolo website, you will get a popup "spin the discount wheel" which has at least another 3% off coupon code, maybe more (but not likely). Clear your history or cache which may get that popup discount offer. Also, look for possible discount for certain occupations which was once a thing too.
