***OP's restaurants chain affiliations are not correct. For example, Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse are Darden restaurants and NOT Blooming Brands. I didn't check the others, but I know about these two because I use Darden gift cards at both of them.

'Cash Only' seems to be hit or miss depending on location or even employee.
Go to the next store (100 yds 🤣) down the road and try again.
AFAIK there is never a restriction in the store POS system that prevents CC payment.
I had a store tell me 'cash or debit card only'. I told them I was paying debit and proceeded to dip my 2% CB Visa... and it worked and they didn't notice.

I went ahead and canceled my Sip Club subscription. It is still active until the 23rd. I will use the 20% off at Dollar General and pay for a year in advance using the gift card when they send me my retention offer. If they don't send it, it's still a decent deal.

Just got back from there. Can confirm they do not know it's cash/debit only, I paid with credit card with no issues. The gift card automatically scans for the discount.

So I went back and just bought one Darden as a test and it worked. so I purchased a $100 Darden one and it came up as $80 and paid with a credit card.

When you tried to purchase a Longhorn card but the discount didn't come off could you just void the sale - how were you able to switch to the Dardwn caed?
