Great option for 90-99+% of buyers. Very good turntable.
Don't spend more.
Spending more is roughly the equivalent of looking for audio jewelry or fancy labels on the same wine with a higher price.
Yah you can drop 10k plus on a vinyl rig but that is for folks who spend to feel big. It's like a Rolex, sorta cool but over the course of a year your iPhone or Pixel or whatever phone keeps vastly more accurate time.
Anyway, great table and price, spend the rest of your loot on the plastic disks at record stores.

I've had this for about 8 years. Think I paid about the same. It's been a great player. I upgraded to an Ortofon Red about 3ish years ago and it definitely made a significant improvement.

Had one small issue with the tracking, causing records to play a little fast. The adjustment dial is underneath the unit, so adjusting it in real time is a bit of a pain, but it's only happened once.

After 5 years you stock stylus might have been worn. It would be interesting to compare a brand new stock one with the Ortofon Red cart.
I think the one in the Denon is a decent AudioTechnica

At any rate the one in the unit should be fine for most people.
It is a spherical tip so it wears records less but can't dig as deeply into the groves and is more forgiving of issue with the vinyl. The Red is elliptical so it digs deeper but does wear the record more, prob no issue but use lighter tracking force vs stock. The benefit would be slightly more high frequency pick-up and stereo separation but that will only factor really if someone sits down in the sweet spot, especially obviously for the stereo separation. There should be little to no benefit in the mids or bass regions at all. Who knows though right?

The red is probably a worthy $100 upgrade if you have high fidelity speakers and listen as such. But yah it would be interesting to actually compare them.

All your posts are weird.
I'm trying to help folks who want a turntable by keeping the budget limit basically at this model or similar models and price point.

I am a streaming guy myself, that said folks can have a lot of fun shopping at garage sales, record stores and buying physical media at live shows or whatever.
Vinyl has restricted fidelity limits compared with digital but many folks have enjoyed listening to even lower quality sources fully for years (such as FM radio or early Bluetooth nit to mention endless horse cr@p speaker systems)

In no way should a person buy into the cash grabbing going on with expensive turntables and accessories. That is almost all BS crap.
The fun some people have in buying records may warrant that some people should buy a record player and this Denon would be a great choice as it very easy to use and is of high quality.

Even someone who wants to sit down for the highest fidelity sessions with their Perlisten towers or their JBL 4367's might still want to play some old records along with the much higher fidelity quality digital sources.

No you will need an adapter or pre-amp that can route the Bluetooth signal.
If you are going that route there are other turntable that have built in BT.
I'd suggest you could spend even less & if it is your plan to BT to a soundbar.
Just grab this one to start. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_057...Black.html
