One review (5.0 from a single rating) — that's not "great," that's "nobody's bought it yet." Zero track record. This is the biggest red flag, not the price.
"Stainless Steel" at $19.99 for an 86" tall unit — that's not real stainless. It's thin powder-coated steel tube at best, more likely coated iron that'll rust at the joints where the coating chips. Fine, just don't expect the material claim to hold.
The fake-discount second size — "907045 was $39.99 now $19.99" is the standard Walmart-marketplace phantom markdown. Ignore it.
U-shape thin-tube design — these flex and lean once a mature cucumber vine loads them with fruit and catches Valley wind. The netting is usually flimsy nylon that sags.
What's actually fine:
For $19.99 with free shipping on lightweight annual cukes, it'll probably survive one season, which may be all you want. It's not a structural investment, it's a disposable seasonal trellis.
The U/arch shape is genuinely good for cucumbers — vines climb both sides, fruit hangs straight down in the middle (easy picking, straighter cukes). The concept is sound; it's the build quality that's cheap.
The honest verdict: it's not garbage, it's disposable. If you want something for this one July cucumber sowing and don't mind it being landfill by next year, it's fine at $20.
