Anyone know what the military discount is? The page alludes to "Affiliated with Military, Student, and Teacher communities? Sign up and verify with ID.me for special discounts."

Just don't want to jump through all the hoops (I don't have an Asus account) to find out this isn't discounted further.

*Solid deal (by 2026 standards) regardless

Thank you but I was wondering what additional discount there may be for mil, students, etc since that tends to require not only signing up for the website's account, but also doing the entire ID.me thingy (which can be painless or annoying depending on the website)

I signed in with ID.ME and there is no additional discount on this particular product. You do get 5% off on others.

Many reports of poor customer service with returns with ASUS. i.e., making it very difficult to return for any reason.

RX 9060 XT 8gb vs 16gb is a huge difference in performance - many recommend ever buying an 8GB version. Unless you can get it for sub $300.

Only if they are using someone else's electric. Otherwise it is cheaper just to invest directly.
