I bought these a month ago and can't say I'd recommend them. The wheels themselves roll pretty well on my wood floors but the housing in which they sit are more annoying than I would've expected.

If you look at the picture, the wheels are held on by a bolt and nut. They are not flush with the wheel and protrude about 0.5 cm from either side. They'll scuff the legs / sides of your desk, furniture, walls, etc. if you're not careful.

The corners of the metal "housing / bracket" where the wheels sit are also kinda sharp. They protrude far enough that it'll consistently strike the back of your heel when rolling forward.

On the matter of safety, it also incredibly easy to get the back your foot stuck between the gap of the housing and wheel when rolling backwards if you're not careful.

If I had to do it again, I'd go with a wheel that has a curved housing.

I bought some a month or two ago too. My chair isn't close enough to hit anything, so haven't had the same problem. I'm happy to have the double wheels to spread out the load on the floor. The original hard plastic wheels were pulling up tiny bits of the polyurethane finish on my wood floors. I've used the big plastic mats elsewhere and would just prefer not to use them again.

I bought these around the same time and they have been working great!

I bought these on the last sale and they work so much better than the stock wheels that came on my chair. Would definitely buy again!

I recently bought a set of similar a few weeks back. Massive improvement in smoothness/ease of rolling on my hardwood. However.... unintended side effect of being too smooth as it does not like staying put. I find myself fighting with my chair to stay where I want it to, which can be pretty annoying throughout the day.

Anyone know if these "stay" better? LOL

Great, now I can't stop saying ASHGOOB. Had the same problem after buying my Woozoo fan from Costco.

Get the rollerblade style ones. I got the light up ones. They're great on my new wood floors!
