I have one of ESR's other MagSafe car chargers with "CryoBoost" (Model 2C540B) and the cooling fan works way better than I had expected. It's a night and day difference compared to my other chargers, most of which also have fans. You can tell just from the loudness of the fan that it's much stronger than others.
