This Ryobi 40V kit pairs a 650 CFM, 160 MPH blower with a carbon fiber string trimmer and a 4Ah battery, and the standout is the in store clearance price when it appears. The blower and trimmer are described as strong performers, with the blower compared favorably to other options in the same price range and the extra battery adding value for 40V mower owners. The main catch is that pricing and availability vary by Home Depot location, and the deal may only show in store or in the app. A solid bundle if you can find the clearance tag locally.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. Some stores had it at the OP price of $150, while others showed higher clearance prices like $186, $204, or $250. Inventory also varies by location, so checking nearby Home Depot stores can matter.
Yes. The $150 price is an in-store clearance price, and some stores only show "visit store to see price" online. The Home Depot app can show the clearance price at participating locations, but nearby stores may still be priced higher.
The blower and trimmer are described as very good performers for the price, with the blower called better than other options in the same range. The trimmer also works with Ryobi 40V expansion tools and pairs well with a 40V mower.
Yes. The kit includes a 4Ah battery and charger, which makes it especially useful if you already own Ryobi 40V tools. It can also serve as an extra battery for a 40V mower setup.
The battery can last well if stored around 50% in a cool place, while keeping it fully charged in a hot garage may shorten its life. One owner reported the battery still being like new after following the lower-charge storage habit.
