I picked up the xe75 for 150 but this totally is worth the 75 delta for wifi 7 vs 6E, 4x 2.5 ports vs 1x 2.5 and 2x 1 ports.

That's a solid buy for sure.

I moved away from TP-Link long ago, but have been tempted to give them a whirl again as Orbi and Eero move to being too "user friendly" and less "Give me all the control I want as the user"

My biggest complaint with Eero. I literally cannot modify everything I want about my network.

Anyone know if these put out one SSID across the different GHz bands or does it distribute separate SSID's? Give me back the AirPort - ha.

If it works like the Eero it's one SSID

No thanks to this brand, you're required to sign in with a TP-Link account and use the Deco mobile app as the only way to set up and handle the hardware. As a result, a live Internet connection is required for the setup process and ongoing management.
Additionally, managing your home router via a vendor-connected account increases inherent privacy risk.

As an update to this, I purchased the Xe75 Pro at 150. Then saw this deal for 75 more and bought it a few days later.

MLO is a game changer. We have newer cell phones and laptops which take advantage of WiFi 7 and I'm getting more than 2x speed at my office in my home compared to the xe75. Absolutely worth the upgrade IMO

One ssid for everything but MLO is a separate network

I'm getting significantly more speed with MLO from wifi 7 compared to the xe75 pro I setup a few days prior with that 150 dollar deal. Absolutely worth the 75 dollar difference in my book
