Eh, I just received it yesterday from this deal. It's actually a really solid bit of kit.
The metal is solid and sturdy.
The tap-to-pop-open the tripod legs is a really nice touch if you've wrestled with tripod legs before.
Having a 1/4" mounting screw is great and makes this really versatile if you already have some (D)SLR accessories.
The remote was easy to pair (instructions were spot on) and does its one job - trigger the shutter - perfectly.
The light works well with 3 color temperatures (white, warm, cool) and a knob to adjust brightness.
Things that might be an issue.
Extended to full height, it could get a bit wobbly. Especially if it's windy, uneven ground, or you're putting something top-heavy on it.
The extension pieces are strictly friction-based. There's no knob to lock things in. It's perfectly calibrated to hold whatever height you want when brand new, but I can see it maybe loosening with use. But at $25, I wouldn't be heartbroken if it did unless it was, like, the third use.
The light feels cheap and like it might not last long. I'm keeping it in its separate box just in case. But it's very lightweight. And it's not why I bought this. It's a nice add but I couldn't care less if it came with one. If it's important to you, I'm pretty sure you can find better replacement lights with magnets.
The legs are not length adjustable for when you try to set up the tripod on uneven ground. I wouldn't expect them to be, though, at this price.
The jury's out on the longevity of the tap-to-open mechanism. No reason to think it'll fail early, but if it does, I expect this will be the first failure point. Again, $25. It can still be used as a selfie stick even if that mechanism fails.
All in all, I'd buy it again.
