I am deep into 12v line and really want this, but when I need to use nails it's almost always done with a nail gun.

Dead battery platform that I foolishly invested in this past Xmas when Lowes was clearancing it out. If this was $30, maybe it would be enticing but $60-80 is what this was priced at for ages and didn't sell then.

I use mine to finish driving nails into tight spots, or areas I can't get my nail gun, or hammer into. I also use it to take-off the bottom pin in a door hinge, great use in that case. It works as good, or better than my Metabo pneumatic palm nailer for most things. Really happy I got it, but didn't pay this much, I think I got it for around $45, who knows if it will ever go down that low again. I would buy it at this price if I lost mine, it is something I would really miss if I lost it.

Skil 12v tools are fantastic budget offerings. You got some really nice tools for amazing prices. Plus their batteries work as battery banks. The brand isn't dead, Skil and Lowe's just had a falling out. Amazon also recently started selling knockoff skil 12v batteries with larger capacities that are pretty nice.
