I do recommend them, but I also agree that the advertised performance time, especially for the mowers, is not realistic. That said, the 80v batteries do charge quickly, and I find I can cut my whole yard between my two large batteries (about an acre).
Greenworks is the OEM for kobalt 80v, and you can modify the batteries/tools with a little work to make them cross compatible.

These mowers are light as a feather, self propel is unnecessary. The benefit is most of the time SPs come with bigger batteries.
