This is one of my favorite trimmers. I have two of the older model and I leave one in trimming mode and the other in edging mode. I use them on two lawns every week during the growing season and they have worked great for years. They have a little less power than the larger battery trimmers but this is lightweight and takes care of most needs.

Totally agree with this; Mine is 6 years old and it just keeps working day after day

If you need a lightweight trimmer I guess this is ok but for anyone needing quality I would recommend you avoid this thing. I had one and my parent's still do and the difference between this and my Poulan is crazy. Like anything some will love it and some will hate it so take what I say as a suggestion.
