FYI that original price is VERY overinflated. These are usually like $50-60 and are not generally sought after by most collectors.

You are 100% correct. It's still an awesome set to have for young kids and new collectors.

That's where my 90's sets are.

When they're worth something, they'll be dust.

Haven't collected in a long time, but wouldn't these "complete" sets have all the rare cards that seem to fetch a lot of money on the market? Or are those excluded, and the word "complete" is just a lie?

Yeah I've got tons of sealed cards from the early 90's that are worth less than I paid for them 36 years ago.

Literally first Amazon review.

This is the complete Topps base set of 2024 baseball cards. This is the base set so there aren't any variations or "special" cards, and there's not supposed to be.

This is a complete base set, which gives you all the regular cards for a season. So you'll get the regular card for every player they made a cards for that year. Topps first offered a full factory set of baseball cards in 1974 exclusively through the J.C. Penney catalog. However, they did not make annual full factory sets a regular staple until 1982.

They never include any rare inserts or 1/1 cards that come from blind packs. Could you imagine if people could just buy this set and get ALL the ultra rare special insert cards that people are trying to pull randomly?

I started card collecting this year and already regret it. Fun but costly. For sports cards, what do folks do with the base cards, especially the non rookies ones?

I was part of the last generation that collected for fun. I never gave a crap about 'worth'.

Tape one to the front fork of your bmx bike so the card sticks through the spokes. Then ride like the wind and enjoy that sweet motor sound. Give out others to the rest of your crew in the neighborhood.
