This is a good PSU. I got it based on the reviews and ratings it received (and price). I have the 1200w version running for the last year in a 5090/9800X3D rig. Max I draw from the wall (Kill-A-Watt) is 900w with me pushing everything during testing. I have yet to have an issue after a year with an average wattage drain from the wall of 600w while gaming.

This or the montech at newegg? nevermind this only includes 2 pcie 6+2 cables, but montech has 3

Electrically, Montech Century II is the best possible power supply at this price range, except in the case of some extreme sale events. The only bad thing is that the Montech cables are cheap plastic while many in this ~$100 for 1000w range tend to have sleeved cables. Makes no differences as the sleeves are just weaved plastic over cheap plastic, purely aesthetics.
