I always ask this when deals for this stuff come up... isn't earwax an important feature for trapping dust and debris before it gets to your inner ear? And it shouldn't be removed?

No- you should take it out in summer and then use it as a chapstick in winter.

I have one setup for motherboard repairs and various electronics. Use my phone as the monitor. Then mirror my phone to a larger monitor. My eyes just not what they use to be. Sometimes reading small fine print on clear stickers on various items. Reading serial #'s ect.

Buddy stole my idea and used it when he was modding his controller for some joystick module swap out and customizations.

Just to throwing out some additional use cases people might not think of. I don't have this specific one but they all kinda the same.

Some ear wax is a naturally good filter to prevent germs and other foreign matter from entering your ear canal. Just cleaning your ear with a hot damp towel and your pinky finger is actually good enough.
