Great deal! Does it need a subscription to use the camera?

Has anyone had issues with poop on the house, window, frame etc? I'd like for my living room window but don't want a messy eyesore.

Doesn't the camera seem a bit redundant since it's already on the window? I have birds hitting the storm glass door and other windows every now and then, dunno if I'd want to actually bait them to do it more.

I have this one but the squirrels ate the cable. The adorable little rascals.

I reached out to the company and they're hooking me up even though it obviously wasn't their fault.

Attracting birds to clear windows seems like a terrible idea!

Bought one of these, put it out on my porch window, with a pretty big tree behind it that birds frequent quite regularly, filled the thing full of bird food, but there was no indication that a bird had ever even set foot on the thing. Food was still all there seemingly untouched, no feathers or smudges anywhere on the bird house, no bird poop, No insects, just an undisturbed bird house. They didn't like it. I signed up for the free account, went into the app and set up the thing to record motion, but it never did, it never even took screenshots, even though I configured it in the settings.

If that functionality was pay walled, it didn't tell me when I enabled it. I did a manual record just fine to make sure it could, and that worked, but I didn't want to bother with it anymore and just returned it.

Birds didn't like it, it didn't record motion. I had it up for nearly two weeks.

"...to save more than SD video you have to subscribe and will need to pay a recurring fee"
"There is a memory card slot on the camera but no mention of it being usable to keep full resolution video."
