This mini PC is a compact Ryzen 7 255 and Radeon 780M machine aimed at light gaming and everyday use, with the 780M described as roughly GTX 1050 class and capable of triple A games on medium or low settings. The Oculink port is a standout for turning it into a small gaming rig, and the 6400 MT per second LPDDR5 memory is fast, though soldered and not upgradeable. The main concerns are stability and heat, with reports of freezing, WHEA errors, USB lockups, and stress test failures. A fresh Windows install and updated drivers are repeatedly suggested, but cooling and long term reliability remain the big question.
Common Questions (5)
Several reports point to instability under load, including freezing, WHEA warnings, and OCCT stress-test errors. A fresh Windows install, updated drivers, and better cooling may help, but the soldered RAM and compact mini-PC design can make heat-related problems more likely.
At around $500, it is viewed as a reasonable spec for the hardware, but some buyers think the value is better on competing mini PCs with expandable RAM, more storage, or a better-cooled case. The current price is also considered less attractive for gaming than it was when these systems were much cheaper.
The Radeon 780M is good for light-to-medium gaming and can run many AAA games at medium or low settings. It has been compared to a GTX 1050-level iGPU, so it is best suited to budget gaming rather than high-end settings.
No. The 16GB LPDDR5 memory is soldered, so it cannot be upgraded later. That makes the current configuration effectively fixed, unlike models that use removable SODIMM RAM.
A fresh Windows install is often recommended as the first step, and one detailed setup process includes installing Windows with Rufus, then adding WLAN, AMD, and Bluetooth drivers afterward. That approach reportedly fixed or avoided several software-related issues.

And Acemagic is the cheapest "highend" mini PC by far. And when I say high end I am referring to the F5A case.

Real high end pc psu cost a lot for a reason, these power bricks are barely adequate, they can't cost cut the chips, just the stuff around it.

To me the main problem is the soldered RAM on the mobo. While is runs at like half the wattage and runs cooler then swappable RAM... soldered RAM is soldered very close to the CPU and if the CPU gets hot the heat may encompass the memory and when memory heats up even a little, the system usually fails.
But like I have been saying... when you do buy a mini PC try to buy one with proper build quality and the only case I would accept from Acemagic is the A5P case due to the dual fan set up and dual zone set up and users have only complimented this case.
IIRC its comparable to a GTX 1050
GTX 1050 is already 10 years old its from 2016
RX 580 is double as fast as GTX 1050 and 90 % of actual game run just on minimum
LP is low power DDR
So that is not the case with every mini pc.

Another sneaky thing they do sometimes is resort to NGFF m.2 SSDs, because the SATA m.2 uses less power, it stays under the limit of the power brick.
