Isn't this the version where people were having problems with?
I've certainly had problems with mine, but that was bought 3-4 years ago. Would hope SanDisk has fixed the problems by now. With mine: I eventulally realized that it doesn't like being connected / powered on 24/7. It's only happy when I connect it only when I need it, and then disconnect. So I use it for quarterly backups of my primary system. (It's worth noting that my 1tb and 2tb SanDisks (that look like this) have been rock solid.
Even if someone has the Payboo card from B&H for no sales tax, buying from Costco is a better long term bet for its generous return policy in case it goes bad.

Excellent point. Great to have that buying protection. I do love Payboo. But I would probably be willing to pay tax to have buying protection.
Like a moron I did not buy any sndk stock when it was like 50 bucks back in 2025. I always assumed the company sucks and used to buy Samsung SSD's. We used to call jt scamdisk. Look at the stock now!! FML

Hindsight is 20/20. Easy now to say shoulda/coulda/woulda, but you said yourself that you thought the company sucked so it's not like you were about to buy in 2025 and went with Intuit stock instead.
