This is their loose fit which is enormous. The relaxed fit is cut 'slimmer' although still great for dudes with dad bods

FYI the "heather" colors are usually polyester blended tees rather than 100% cotton like most of the other colorways

Carhartt solid colors are 100% cotton and pretty hefty, heathers (like this) are cotton/poly blends. Their loose fit is huge, I size down in them (they're still plenty long).

I'm 6'4"/200 pounds, and the LARGE is big on me. I wash them in hot water to get it to shrink a bit, but that' s only 100 percent cotton.

5'11" and 170 here. Medium fits me well at the shoulders with plenty of room in the sleeves and torso. I like the longer tail that stays tucked. The extreme comfort and thick fabric are why I buy these. The 100% cotton white are my favs.
