People still think this does absolutely anything? Your stomach acid will change the Ph almost instantly. You would have to drink so much to actually change your Ph, but then you would be dead because your Ph changed.

There are studies being done/done by the top 8 medical schools in the US and the top 2 schools in the UK/EU. All have proven that alkaline water shows significant therapeutic benefit to those suffering from moderate to severe GERD, mild to severe gastritis and chronic gastritis. Now new studies show that there are not only therapeutic benefits but also some preventative benefits as well, those advanced studies are in South Korea and Japan, some in China. Not all alkaline water is the same with natural sourced being the best but Essentia is the best municipal sourced alkaline water. If this type of water or the purpose of the water is not for you, that's ok, there are so many options in 2026. But what's not ok is someone WITHOUT a PhD, WITHOUT an MD, WITHOUT years of clinical research coming onto any website and stating the water does absolutely nothing with a very foolish statement about drinking a lot of water to change your pH (hint changing your body's pH is NOT what alkaline water is about). Sorry but your comment comes off as a high schooler voicing his opinion on a topic. We are already living in a world of AI and deception, let's try to keep bullshit out of Slickdeals at the very least.

For individuals managing gout or arthritis, alkaline water can be highly beneficial. In my personal experience, consuming a minimum of one liter of alkaline water daily yields significantly better results than drinking non-alkaline water.

The real problem with AI and modern data is that people love sharing unverified info without citing any sources. It naturally hooks highly emotional readers who don't want to take the time to fact-check. I get it to a point. But at the end of the day, is ignorance really bliss, or is it ruining our society? We also can't ignore foreign misinformation—just look at some of the targeted ads on YouTube. It's ironic because researching has never been easier; we carry massive computing power everywhere we go. Yet, we still get trapped in an overwhelming overload of data junk without even realizing it. Developing awareness is at least half the battle.

what a load of shit - when you are done defecating do you sit there and just waft in the smell of your own feces? I dont use AI, i have degrees to back my information up and trust the clinical research studies found at multiple medical schools across the country and a few in the EU/UK/Japan. Again if you arent an MD, if you have zero experience in clinical research, if you do not have a masters or a PhD in biology/biochemistry/biochemical engineering then see yourself out. dont go to a car forum and talk to mechanics when you have zero clue what's going on. Youve joined the site 6 years ago and have past a month browsing, touch grass.
