Cheap flights for sure, but know that it's cheap for a reason. Tokyo in the summer is awful if you're not used to high heat and humidity. Think like 95 degrees weather with 95% humidity. Basically you're sweaty and sticky the moment you step outside and there will be mosquitoes to boot.

Wow. Glad to see cheap asian fares from west coast, like cheapo European fares from east.

We even have a NS flight to Taipei from PHX Smilie Too bad they don't have many connections from Taipei thx to PRC Frown

I went there in July, it's worse. I grew up in SE Asia. You will need a jacket with two fans in the back to be able to walk around. Personally, it's best to just avoid Japan in the summer except maybe Hokkaido.

A lot of Asian friends say its bad all over. Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan. I know some who are going to Tokyo in a few weeks. I want to go back so bad but a few trips ago I went there in August. No way. Last March it rained and snowed but wasn't that cold.

I said good luck getting the wifi to work for people who are planning to go there the first time so they don't rely on the wifi exclusively, nothing about people shouldn't download in advanced. I downloaded in advanced because someone, like me, said the same then.

Checked the prices, and going to Japan this month is Cheap! The problem was finding a return flight. It's either sold out, over $900, or a month out. I'm guessing this is more catered toward normal people who shop around for tickets a few month in advance...lol
