SUNLU 3D Store via Amazon has for Prime Members: 4-Count 1KG SUNLU Easy PA Nylon 3D Printer Filament (Black) for $55.98. Shipping is free.

Thanks to community member gabe23111 for finding this deal.

About this item:
  • Formulated with a Nylon 6/66 copolymer, EASY PA offers superior tensile and flexural strength compared to standard PLA or ABS, resulting in exceptionally strong and durable functional parts.
  • This polyamide filament exhibits outstanding resistance to abrasion, friction, and physical impacts. It is ideal for high-stress, moving components like gears, bearings, and tools that require long-term durability.
  • The advanced copolymer formula significantly reduces shrinkage during cooling, minimizing warping and cracking. This allows for successful printing of large or complex models with reliable dimensional stability.
  • With a heat deflection temperature of 121°C, printed parts maintain their shape and integrity in demanding environments, such as within electronic enclosures or near engine compartments, outperforming many common filaments.

FYI, this is a slight discount ($4 off the $59.99 everyday price), not a "holy crap drop everything and buy a hundred of these" deal. Not knocking the deal -- four bucks is four bucks -- but simply saying it's not something anyone needs to rush into like it's a pr*ce m*stake. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

ETA: Even at full price, the four-pack is a fantastic deal compared with the single-spool price. My comment here is simply that the extra $1/spool is a relatively small (about 6.7%) discount.

The one year price history for this product is all over the place. It's been as high as $135. The current price does seem to be the lowest it's ever been over the past year though.

Looks like high stress/ friction applications, like gears and automotive parts. Not to make toys or basic desktop models.

I make 3D model figures/figits for my sister's grade school class and the boys are quite good at stressing those and breaking them. Time for me to start printing them in nylon!! 🤣🤣

$59.99 is definitely not the every day price FYI. I've been watching this the last couple of months on and off and it was $100+ every time I checked. This was actually part of a FP deal I posted a few weeks ago where it was $81 after a 40% coupon.

It was 59.99 for a bit and held off and then shot up to 135 and def a no. So at this price, it's lower than I've seen it. I think I'll bite at this price.

I've been printing some easy-PA that I bought on the last deal. It's been great, but it took me a while to get the settings dialed in, because it doesn't print like regular PA6/66. Strength, layer adhesion and flexibility are great. For functional parts I prefer it over ASA in terms of strength and durability. I printed a toolbox with a snap on latch and nylon is great for that "snap". I printed a mag loader in nylon is great because it flexes to grab onto the magazine but not break. Would be good for lots of other mechanical uses where those factors matter. Apparently UV resistance isn't great on nylon.

Yes, I saw it dropped to $59.99 recently and meant to post but forgot lol. I have it saved in my Amazon cart, so I get notified of price changes. I remembered to post after getting the notification of the current price today.

Thanks for info! You sold me on it with the strength+flexibility. Ordering! Also found sunlu nylon 2.7kg roll for $40 w/s&s but doubt many want to deal with a large roll. https://a.co/d/0gL7chhn

If you are new to printing then ~$10 for 1KG roll is what you need for your prototypes. Keep an eye out on the Amazon haul. About twice a year you can snag rolls at 1/2 off for about $4-7 for 1KG roll.

I'm a new hobbyist here and got some flashforge flex pla when I got my printer. I've not been able to successfully print with it. One time it even jammed the printer so bad I had to completely disassemble it. You have any tips for printing with that and TPU?
