I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that has never used one before. You can burn through your paint with this model. A random orbital is a lot more forgiving. This one will polish the same spot until nothing is left if you don't keep it moving.

just get the hercules forced rotation polisher from HF when its on sale. best bang for buck and tons of power. Most people arent polishing enough to justify a battery polisher

Battery powered is the only way to go in 2026. Also, if the cord on any of these touches your car paint, instant scratches.
sure you should try to avoid dragging a cord across your paint a lot, but just hang it over your shoulder it mostly wont even come close. Also its not covered in sandpaper

And the corded tends to be lighter and you can use it all day without checking a battery.

Skip the rotary and go dual action with a long throw if you're new to polishing. Your clear coat will thank you.

Bought my daughter her first car yesterday and the paint is cloudy with a chance of dents. It's been a very long time since I've polished out a car so I'm going to practice on hers using this lol. Thank you for posting.

This is a good deal for a rotary machine. This beats any DA for a super shiny finish. First you need a good quality foam finishing pad and polish. Keep the machine on speed 1 when using. Use a light touch, like how a janitor buffs a floor. You will have a super shiny finish. DO NOT put pressure or force the machine when using. You will burn through the clear coat and create swirl marks.

Never heard of this brand before last year. But have their handheld saw & pole saw and highly recommend both. Bet this is the same quality.
