Google Fi's Pixel 10 Pro promo stands out as a strong way to get a new unlocked Pixel while bundling service credits and extras. The phone is unlocked from day one, the $699 bill credit is spread over 24 months, and the deal still includes a year of Gemini Pro. Fi also adds value for multi device setups with one LTE smartwatch and four data only SIMs or eSIMs per line at no extra cost, plus solid T Mobile priority. The main catches are the 24 month commitment, the upfront and monthly plan math, and reports of poor customer service.

Common Questions (5)

  • Any voice-and-data Google Fi plan can qualify for the $699 device rebate, including Flexible; data-only/tablet plans do not qualify. Unlimited Premium is separate and is only needed for the extra $240 plan discount, which is applied as $10 off per month for 24 months.

  • The $300 upfront discount requires staying on Fi for about 4 months, while the $699 portion is paid back as prorated bill credits over 24 months. That means the phone price is tied to keeping the qualifying account active long enough to receive the credits.

  • Each Fi line can include one LTE smartwatch and four data-only SIMs or eSIMs at no additional cost, and those data-only devices work worldwide on the same terms as the main line. That makes Fi especially useful if you want tablets, a kid's phone for data, or router backup data without paying extra per device.

  • Yes, the Pixel 10 Pro is unlocked from day one. That lets you use it on other carriers immediately instead of waiting for a lock period to expire.

  • Yes, the deal still includes 1 year of Gemini Pro. The subscription can be shared with family, which adds extra value beyond the phone and service credits.

Fi is worth it if you have multiple other devices that you want data on. Each line can have one LTE smartwatch and 4 data-only SIMs/eSIMs for no additional cost.

Most of the more slick deals I've seen are for the extra devices on Fi. The phone deals are only really good if you're adding a new line and getting a Pixel.
It's a good deal if you have a Pixel/Samsung/Moto, want watch service, and catch it on a half-off promo (or on one of the free phone/watch deals)

Only catch is their customer service is TERRIBLE

This guy probably doesn't leave the country... Or he would appreciate the high data speeds Ive enjoyed... With that said, very happy US mobile customer with dark star plan (plenty of international data included)
I don't really understand your comment but I get 600 megabits regularly around my town on Fi

Mint at $15/month (6gb data) is hard to leave. Even though they don't have good deals on new phones for existing customers
I plan to do Mint for 1 year ($15/month for "unlimited" - really 50gb data) and $600 for a S26 plus <-- not amazing compared to deals I used to be able to find, better than I've found recently.

Then when the year is up - go to US Mobile or Tello for a year.

Then come back as a new customer with Mint for another intro rate + phone deal. Early for a new phone, but I think it'll be cheaper given the old phone will still have decent value.

(At least in theory, if nothing changes).

Are these unlocked? If not, how long is the wait to unlock? Reason I ask is I want to use T-Mo's Satellite service and it needs a newer unlocked phone or a T-Mo branded phone.

That's exactly where I'm at. They (T-mo) are forcing me off my 2015 grandfathered plan, and even on the device upgrade plans the phones I have are pretty worthless by their trade-in criteria like excluding OnePlus phones above v10 (we have a later R model) or giving half trade for a Pixel 9a while a Pixel 6 would fetch full trade. I'm looking forward to trying out Fi for a couple of years and avoiding all that nonsense as well as getting a higher flagship tier to be eligible for future trade in deals.
Yes I feel you, I've been on Sprint/ T-Mobile for going on 26 years now. I usually always call them and say hey. What can you do for somebody who's been with you guys for as long as I have and they usually find a way to get me a free pixel. I've got six lines right now. Unlimited talk and text for $150 a month. Haven't paid for a phone in about 15 years. I've been trying to get my Google pixel 6 pro upgraded to a Google pixel 10 pro for about 5 months but I'm in no hurry.

Currently paying $50/mo for 4 "Unlimited Standard" lines on Fi (plus taxes). I think the "bill credits" deal that made this possible was pretty slick (simply ported in, no devices purchased or traded).
How long are you locked in to that rate for, and is it still possible to get it?

Excellent. I suppose that if leaving early say after 5-12 months of the agreement a prorated balance is due?

depends the first 300 dollars requires you to stay for like 4 months. and the 699 is prorated over the 24 months of bill credits
