If you go to cancel your Playstation Plus membership, you should get an offer to extend your current membership rather than cancel. It's been reported some people are receiving offers up to 50% off. When I tried, I got offered 25% off to stack an additional year onto my annual membership I just renewed last month during the State of Play sale.
As a reminder Sony only offers 20% off membership sales twice a year, June's State of Play and November's Black Friday, and only people out of membership or upgrading to higher membership are eligible. So getting a discount greater than 20% and existing members getting to push out their existing membership expiration is a rare opportunity.

Online play is completely free on PC! And games are much cheaper on PC. With Sony announcing there will be no more physical games, there is absolutely zero reason to buy PlayStation
