$10 seems like the price it should be, not the "huge deal" price considering a UGREEN one is the same price not on sale.

It doesn't say USB 3.0 anywhere. There are plenty of USB 3's you can get on Amazon under $10. For example, I got a SmartQ last week (this particular one is USB A but there are also dual port ones for under $10. I just liked the slide mechanism vs two caps)
