While Verizon Welcome and Tmobile Essential both at 25/month including a free phone, why people would spend $25 without anything? I know priority can be a thing but how many times you actually need priority data in a congested area.

Verizon welcome is not $25 for a single line, it's $55.

T Mobile gets you with countless hidden fees. Never heard of another carrier charging a $40 "device connection charge" for example.
Jumped ship to the Mint unlimited plan for $180/yr ($15/month) and very happy with it. Unfortunately it renews at full price $30/month and I'm shopping around.
If Visible had the $15/month unlimited plan with the 5 yr price lock like in 2024, I'd be all over it! But $30/month is a very typical price for unlimited plans in 2026, not so slick like past deals.
If I don't find anything better I'll get the Spectrum unlimited plan for $30/month which includes a 2nd line free when you port a number; $15/month per line.
Anyone know of anything better?

I would never use a carrier locked phone again because of:
Bootloader locks — harder or impossible to root, install custom ROMs, or unlock for use on other networks, at least until you complete the contract/financing.
Bloatware — carrier apps and services preinstalled that you can't fully remove, some of which run in the background and eat resources.
Slower software/security updates — carrier variants often get OS and patch updates weeks to months after the unlocked version, since the carrier has to test and approve the build first.
SIM lock during financing — even after you own the phone, some carriers keep it locked to their network until the device is fully paid off or a set time has passed, making it a hassle to switch carriers or sell internationally.
Resale value hit — locked or carrier-branded phones sell for less used, since buyers prefer unlocked units that work anywhere.
Carrier-specific firmware quirks — occasionally missing features (like certain WiFi calling implementations, VoLTE bands, or hotspot functionality) that are artificially gated or configured differently than the unlocked variant.
Harder warranty/support path — sometimes you have to go through the carrier instead of the manufacturer directly, adding a layer of bureaucracy.
Higher quality video streaming if you get the pro +, also unlimited Hotspot at 15mbps for visible vs. 10gb Hotspot cap at full speed for Verizon simplicity
Or just get a VPN and get the highest quality video streaming on any base plan? 😆
Wow, Visible prices are up. It's not a good deal anymore. Where's the $25 + Pro plan?
Still a better deal than actually using Verizon plan. We left them because our bill was $189 a month for 2 phones. Now we pay $60. Still a better deal.
OP fix your message. Your + and Pro rates are wrong for the base rate. 35 base for + and 45 for Pro. I had to go check, you had me worried they did a rate increase. Lol
Thanks! I noticed this too. I was looking all over for the Pro plan, which is incorrect.

Cheapest Visible plan I see is $275/yr for the base plan.
Visible $225 per year
USMobile $199
Mint Mobile $210ish
Total $300
