This is definitely a game you should try before you buy, if you can.

The graphics and scenery are great, but the controls and storyline were too disjointed for me to enjoy the game. It felt like a proof of concept rather than a full game. That's just my opinion, though!

The best thing is you can also map button combinations to an action (i.e. two buttons). So technically shouldnt be an issue.

Also you can change zoom level on the camera which is great. Kind of wish it has combat in first person, but at the very least you can walk around in first person view.

Sounds like you played a few hours, but a lot has changed after you quit.

The defenders of this game often swear "you just gotta play 40 hours and then it really gets good."I rather just buy a game that was designed to be good from the start.

Why not just design it correctly from the start? I'm pretty sure designing controls is a lot easier and faster than creating ultra realistic visuals something is clearly wrong.

I was holding out thinking this would drop to $40 soon after all the bad reviews. Might have to give it a try still
