Terrible soundbar if you like any kind of bass, it has none at all. (I have one)
You can hook this via hdmi to your tv arc port and u can use your tv remote to turn up/down via tv remote. You will always be using the sound bar for sound.

Sorry had a brain fart. I was thinking of the Bose Solo II which is only optical input. Guess I could have not been lazy and clicked on the link lol.
The big negative of this model is that if connected via Bluetooth, the device automatically disconnects/turns itself off every 15-20 minutes. Meaning, if you pause a show and walk away make sure you interact with the TV or it shuts off. There's no way to shut this feature off last I checked, but it been a few years so there's hope something got them to update the firmware over the years.
