I had one. It sounds really good. Not quite as good as the sony xrs-xb43 but a lot less bulky. I've used it for long backpacking trips and it's awesome.

Woot [woot.com]has the Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Speaker (Gen 1) (Certified Refurbished) for $69.99. So, to many, an additional $30 for a brand new Gen 2 is justified,

I am. There were times I though I found a deal on SD until I realized it's posted by a staff... 😂 but I didn't know votes are also fake. I miss the SD from years ago. Everything is tainted by money. SD, worldcup, everything 😔

the blue color was on coupon sale for $89 a week or two ago and all of the other colors were on sale for $99 during prime day sales + for almost a week after prime day ended. this is by far imo the best portable speaker you can purchase in the $100 range highly recommend it to those in the market. this is coming from a sony ult field 1/3 + marshall emberton 3 owner (yes I have a problem I know lol).

Best Overall is Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3. Best for Parties is Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Speaker. Best Mini is Ultimate Ears Miniroll Ultra-Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker. I ordered the Miniroll on ebay for $32.46 last June. It's supposed to be open box but I apparently received a brand new unit.
