"mimics the flexibility of rubber"

Wish it had brass fittings

Don't see a listed burst rating in pics/description.

Sounds like "performance rubber" is rubber the same way that "bonded leather" is leather.

Many or most hoses have at least a 300psi if not much higher burst pressure rating, but municipal water pressure shouldn't be much higher than 120psi and even that's high... Even if for some reason you have 200+ psi water pressure (I've seen 200+ on municipal water systems), you'll almost certainly have a pressure regulator on the water main to drop it down.

That all said, hoses can still burst when under constant pressure, even if it's only 60psi and a hose end valve is turned off like a trigger sprayer.

In my 40 years of owning a home i have never had a hose burst on me. Not saying it can't happen, but to worry about burst pressure on a residential hose is a bit of a stretch. Also, residential water pressures, AFAIK, are regulated to 50-60psi.

I concur with this, though it can happen if a hose develops or has a defect which is pretty rare. I have yet to have a hose burst, with exception to one of those expandable hoses, and the Silver Bullet one at that. Those things are both design flawed and use cheap materials.
