My vertically mounted Arctic P14 fans have been running without issue, but the horizontally mounted ones keep dropping like flies. I just had my fifth one die. Just fyi.

These were just $18.09 a few hours ago today. I know this b/c I was able to get on the phone w/ Amazon customer service and get them to price match the purchase I made on Prime Day for a '5-Pack' of these for $27.49, and they added a courtesy promotional credit of $12 onto my account.

120 vs 140 mm

count your winning as amazon customer service couldn't tell the difference immediately.

You know what actually, you're right, I overlooked the headline of this thread, not realizing it was for the 140mm size fans. My mistake.

I bought these when they first listed on Amazon last Summer. Insane value for the money. They have great static pressure and push a lot of air through my double mesh front panel. The only issue is that some samples of this model can make a brief grinding noise when powering on my PC from shutdown, which is not a real problem for me at least.

Haven't built a pc in a while. Are these still king of fans, not considering Noctua?

These are good for those "Ikea Greenhouses" that are getting popular.

So are you saying to avoid mounting horizontal when possible? I'm wondering if this isn't why my p12's start making a weird noise like a bad bearing or something. I haven't made the connection how they were mounted, but I've had 3 make the noise with just a few weeks of use.
