tried these to once because they sounded tastey. I ended up tossing them in the trash. They were crunchy, but the coating tasted nasty.

The palmitic acid found in palm oil has in a few studies, show to increase metastasisin certain animals but not humans, at least yet. And more importantly, palm oil does NOT CAUSE the formation of tumours to begin with.

That said, palm oil isn't optimal as compared to flaxseed or olives which lack the palmitic acid.

Many cheap deserts/junk foods also contain palm oil...When you know better, hopefully you do better. I don't think there have been thorough trials to prove either way in humans, but understanding the correlation and the effects even outside of metastasis is troubling. Quality of life in many ways is related to our choices.

I remember getting these as a kid from a vending machine at a Ford dealership when we were going cross country. Watching old CHiPS reruns and Airwolf. It was beyond hot outside and I'm pretty sure they were in the machine as long as I had been alive... They were super stale it was like eating flavored wood chips. I am beyond shocked that these still exist and wonder if these are the same chips from that cursed machine when I was a kid.
