Higher chair height (~17) is more comfortable for bad joints and tall people (or those who use their toilet as an armchair https://youtu.be/YqQ6D0Bu-a8?t=52).
*probably all heights need a footstool anyway
Community Reviews
The TOTO Drake is a well liked two piece elongated toilet that stands out for strong flushing and a tall universal height. The Tornado Flush and directional water flow get credit for clearing waste well, and the height is comfortable for taller people or sore joints. The deal price also looks unusually low compared with past purchases. Main caveats are that this listing does not include a seat, and shipping can be a gamble because some units arrived cracked, missing parts, or with rough packaging.

i thought toilet industry worked on phasing out stupid wax rings (which fade over time and causes leaks which damages sheet rock and all that good stuff)

They do make a 1.28 gallon model, and I still need to convert one more toilet to low flush at some point. Maybe I'll give it a try, but what am I missing out on compared to an identical looking American Standard that cost $100+ less?
Edit: ok apparently the directional flow of the water is the key to the Drake. Wirecutter review site likes it a lot.
those mostly 3rd world countries where u just squat ovee a hole... essentially got it right,,,
prob the tiolet paper big manufacturers were in on that $$$$ for a generation!
No seat included. Sadly, this is common for a lot of (non-high end) toilets now

Where I live... water is EXPENSIVE and to avoid that surprise $400+ bill due to a leaky toilet I only buy the valve systems. I am a landlord.
