And beyond that, even if your dentist IS listed, be sure to verify current participation by contacting your dentist's office to make sure they still accept it.
It's a good deal, but check all the boxes before paying $100+ for a plan
It's also great for folks with NO dental insurance. Covers a lot of services at highly discounted prices. Some dental insurance plans are pretty pricey, so if you prefer more of a pay as you go model, this is helpful.
The handful of dentists I've went to don't allow you to double dip or use both.
"Maybe" some do but sounds like you're just making up how it should work compared to actual data points.

You can have both a dental savings plan and traditional dental insurance, but you cannot use them simultaneously for the exact same procedure. Instead, you can use the savings plan to reduce your out-of-pocket costs for treatments your insurance does not cover (like cosmetic work) or to save money after you reach your insurance's annual maximum limit
