First 3 numbers of the model # tells you who built it for Kenmore. 106.xxx is Whirlpool. I think 293.xxx is Frigidaire, etc.

My brother's LG compressor died right after the 3-year mark.

Have they fixed the compressor issue? Mine went out for the second time and LG won't honor warranty. $500 to repair. Ended up getting a Whirlpool floor model from Home Depot. Needed to get it due to urgency of risking having all my food from being spoiled

$680 for me, bitchin' ! was able to use the verify.ID for veteran discount.

Just had a super slick deal Kenmore kick the bucket just over 3yrs old... with the price we got that mud room fridge and the price on this one... cant complain too much besides the ol adage they def dont make em like they used to!

My big LG linear compression fridge still going strong - bought it in 2014, so 12 years now. Some of the plastic shelves on the doors have cracked, but trouble free.

Ordered. Gemini says this doesnt have unrealibility issues. I shared specs with it. It isnt same series which had lawsuit between 2014-22. This specific model has only internet disconnect, slow ice dispenser and someones door not fully closing for freezer minor issue. I spent 30 min with Gemini on this and couldnt find anything major..ordered one. This is smoking deal for the price. Extra one year warranty was 9.99 only for me.

one thing to note, its huge. it requires 69.75 clearance in height and I have to cut lip of the top cabinet for this to fit. YMMV
