This is a decidedly "meh" deal IMO! If you want the AZ80, buy an "excellent refurbished" model for on ebay with the 1yr squaretrade warranty. https://www.ebay.com/itm/127938247799

Anyway, there a lot of offerings at this price point and the EAH-AZ80 is nothing to write home about, I think. I really like the EAH-AZ100s though.

I'd do it but it says there's a one year warranty on it. I thought eBay does 2 years through Allstate?

Or is that through specific sellers only?

The AZ-100s have been this price on Woot several times before. I'd just wait for them.

I've bought a pair of the AZ-60s off Woot for $80 (admittedly, back at the end of 2024) and a pair of the AZ-100s fairly recently (late April '26) for $129. I wouldn't consider $150 a pair for the -80s to be a particularly great deal.

i find technics dont connect w. iphone as quickly as a pair of airpods can.

I've got the 60s, 80s and 100s they connect better then most of my others. That includes B&W, Samsung, AKGs and Yamaha. Do you even own these.

I own three pair. How many do you own. I would trust what I can hold in my hand more than Amazon reviews. I'm looking at 30 Different stores that people submitted 10 times the number of reviews than Amazon. If you had bothered to pay attention to the Amazon reviews you would have noticed the same 1389 reviews for the az60-az80 and az100. Yeah I put a lot of stock in Amazon reviews. Please don't tell me that you have faith in Amazon reviews.
