Keep in mind this is only a 1000W model. Over the years, I've bought 1200W–1400W versions on sale from Walmart, Kohl's, and other retailers for around $50. Lately, those deals seem harder to find.
I'm actually surprised they're still making 1000W models when 1500W should be the standard for maximum performance. If I remember correctly, many of the "professional" models also came with extra accessories such as smaller cups and food-processing attachments, though I could be mistaken.
If anything like the older 3 blade ninjas, it's worth nothing I ended up giving one of those away after sampling a vitamix-made smoothie from Costco. 12 years later and the vitamix is still going. Not so sure about the ninja

In any case, this price is definitely not a deal.
