Digital Screen, Real-Time Pressure Display: The large digital screen displays the tyre's real-time pressure for a more accurate and intuitive experience. Avoids pressure reading errors common with dial tyre pumps. Preset Tyre Pressure & Auto Shutoff: This tyre inflator will automatically shut off once it reaches the preset value, no need to babysit the inflation process and worry about overinflation. To inflate: just start the engine, insert the cigarette lighter plug into the car's 12 V outlet, connect the tyre, and preset the desired pressure by pressing "+" and "-". Instant Inflation: For tyres with the specification of 185/55 R14, this car tyre pump can inflate from 30 PSI to 36 PSI < 1 min, and can fully inflate a tyre from 0 PSI to 36 PSI < 5 mins. (Note: It can continuously work for 15 mins.) Ultra-Long Power Cord & Emergency LED Light: With a 0.48 m long air hose and a 3 m long power cord, the car tyre inflator is easily connected to any tyre. The integrated LED light is great for emergencies and working in dark environments. When the digital tyre inflator is powered, the LED light will illuminate.

So much better than the battery ones for a car. The li-ion batteries in them are the cheapest rebins, and they get ruined by heat and cold.
These last forever.
I agree, other than them not being as simple to use anywhere! And these blow your vehicle's accessory fuses sometimes... Keep some spare fuses handy.
I have both styles. No real need to keep an inflator only in my vehicles. I don't have any slow leaks, and I have monitors to show me the PSI for all tires. Not all vehicles have that feature, though.
I like having a combination jump starter/inflator in vehicles, or just a jump starter. You shouldn't need an inflator on the road for topping off tires now and then unless you have a leak that you aren't repairing for some period of time.
I caught a screw in a tire, but it took a few days to get it taken care of, so a battery-powered inflator came in very handy. As cheap as they have become now, everyone should have one. Both styles have their pros and cons.
I have a different style 12v dc air compressor from the same brand that I keep in my truck to inflate the air bags when Im towing. Works great.
Gonna get one of these to throw into the commuter car.

My understanding is the amp draw is higher when the vehicle is off and the available voltage is lower. How common is it for one of these DC tire inflators to blow an accessory fuse when used with the vehicle running?
