I don't disagree this model is overall a good choice, but this doesn't qualify as a slick deal imo

For the price Epson is charging, there's no excuse for selling a projector that's nearly a decade old with outdated hardware. At the very least, they should have upgraded the processor, added modern features, or refreshed the platform. Instead, they've kept the same aging product on the market while barely lowering the price, which is hard to justify.

Wow, grabbed this same unit at the end of 2023 for $2399 brand new via Crutchfield. Thats crazy.
