Is 512GB ssd big enough for a gaming laptop? Looking to buy one, but I think it's best to hold for 1tb.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will step in and correct me if I'm wrong Smilie ... for what it's worth the asus tuf gaming laptops.. I'm guessing that includes this model.. have a second m2 drive slot for a second m2 hard drive so you can get extra storage that way and it's crazy easy to install (youtube videos can be found online that walk you through how to do it) ... the problem is finding an m2 drive that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg Frown .. depends on what games you're running but I'd argue unless you're the type to download and play only one game until it's finished, uninstall it and move on to the next one (some people do that) 512 GB sadly might be too small if you want to have a few games you go back and forth between.

(below article is a bit dated having been published back in 2021 but I'm guessing it's still the same )

I'm so glad to have brought the F15 version with a 4070 a few years ago. There was always that guy who was anal in every thread for this laptop that it made them some lose some CoD games because of some stupid keyboard issue, glad they finally shut up about it.

Doesn't have 32GB of RAM but I was able to buy a refurbished HP miniPC that had 32GB of RAM and 512GB nvme drive for about $290. Need to stop being lazy to do some mem-test runs to see if it's good though
