They could have chosen just about any color liquid for promotional purposes but they had to go with that one, huh? Don't look like Orange Juice to me.

I have a couple of these and they're great. They seal well, pour well, top stays on securely. I have no complaints.

I have a couple of these different sizes I bought a couple years ago. They both leak. The seal either shrinks or sets too deep in the lid to allow the leak.

I have 2 of their smaller pitchers and they never leaked.
I keep iced tea or lemon water in them.

When they were new, did they leak? I like the form factor here, so I'm really hoping if they don't leak new, they'll be good long-term.

No they did not. I always hand washed them and there's a notch to carefully remove the gasket to clean it and where it sits in. They were really great the first year.

I don't know if this would be the same, but we have a Samsung fridge with the pitcher in the door that autofills. That thing leaked all the time. I did some research, and found a video of someone who suggested adding a rubber band under the seal of the pitcher lid and that did the trick. Again I'm not sure if this would work with this pitcher but may be worth a try!

I use this same pitcher for making sweet tea and it is awesome. No leaks. I might just get another at this price.

Don't run these in the dishwasher and you'll never have the problem. At least leave the lid out which is where the gasket is. Gaskets wear out. If you're using dishwasher they will wear out much faster. If you really want to extend their life you can put a thin film of silicone paste on them but that's not necessary

I bought the green gasket 2 quart version 6 years ago according to Amazon for $3.42 and it's still going strong even though I've used it every single day since purchase. No silicone paste, just never put the lid in the dishwasher. Maybe they don't make them like they used to but I doubt it with this brand
