I'd get the Husky from Home Depot over this. It has a lifetime warranty at roughly the same price. I prefer the rear trigger version, but they also have a thumb control version similar to this Craftsman.

I swear that it's impossible to find a hose nozzle that lasts more than a year these days. I really only like these lever style nozzles, but have been through over a dozen at this point. I currently have 2 of these craftsman nozzles on my front and rear hose. I like that the whole handle appears to be cast which is usually a leak point for plastic nozzles. So far so good, with no leaks, but they are less than a year old. I'd take a shot on this nozzle if I needed another.

Why have I had this same experience, in the past few years I've gone through too many hose nozzles that just don't last more than a few months. Hopefully this one fixes that.

The thumb control thingy will tighten and eventually seize up. There's no easy way to open and fix it without destroying it.
Tried them all. This one is the best - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Anvil.../326400065

I have a husky one now with thumb/top level control. My wife throws it down on the pavers and broke the lever; however, it was already leaking from the top. Where you can remove the Phillips screw and take the end off the little o ring will never stay in place so the multi function sprays just leak out the sides.

Anyway, how easy is return/swap home depot? Probably store dependant but I feel like they'll just say the lever isnt covered even tho the overall system failed.
