I only buy Kingroon when it drops to $5 to $6 per spool PLA or PETG - they always go on sale. Their PETG doesn't have the best layer bonding but good enough for the price. If your need a strong part with strong layer bonding, look elsewhere. Their PLA prints easy and reliable. Always dry both before printing even if it's freshly opened.
This hasn't been my experience with kingroon PETG. I started a small business this year printing parts with PETG and have used kingroon for the vast majority of my stuff and haven't experienced the issues you outlined. I am pretty meticulous about drying, though.

Same. Use kingroon for my of my petg and have no issues. I do dry before and during printing though also.

Both the $5 codes still work.
