(by the way, I'm not dissing the AD5X I have two of them)
You start at $214
if you wan an enclosure then
$45 for the kit, plus about $25 in PLA/PETG to print the DIY parts:
$214 + $45 + 25 = $285
The Kobra Combo not only has an enclosure, it comes with a dry box, which is also it is a filament dryer.
If you want live a dry box, another $25 in filament to print it.
$310
If you want a dryer and dry box combo, instead of printing a dry box then the SUNLU 4 spool dryer/drybox is $99, so back to $285 + 99 = $384
That said, if you want a great entry printer there's nothing wrong with the AD5X. . If you don't want multi color, the AD5M is just fine for $175 ish. (AliExpress when on sale)
Like somebody mentioned previously, I did the error that the seller would not ship to my address. I tried the website by itself and through the app as well same error.
I ended up doing buy it now instead of heading to the court and it worked.
I'm a complete newbie to this. There is a post about 10 spools of PETG filaments for $60: https://slickdeals.net/f/19754151
I got that as well. If you are like me, you may want to check it out.

Do you mean the Centauri Carbon 2 or the Centauri Carbon2 Combo?
The Combo adds 4-color printing. I have the CC2 Combo and it works well and it's a much nicer printer in my opinion. It's fully enclosed out of the package. It also carries a higher price tag. The build area is 256x256x256 for the CC2 vs 220x220x220 for the AD5X. I've run into prints that would not fit the AD5X. The CC2's nozzle can go to 350C vs 300C for the AD5X, thus one can get into the harder stuff to print like ABS or ASA, with the * that the CC2 does not have a directly heated chamber, so people leave the hot bed turned on for a while before printing.

Don't have the Kobra yet. They, Anycubic, had to modify them and and they sent out new hotends to a lot of people, and fixed some stuff in firmware. So, I hope, if later reports are true, they got it right.
