Tried these and the toe box is way narrower compared to the Clifton and Bondi. I don't have wide feet but the Rincon were squeezing them good

Pardon my ignorance, but why are hookas so expensive.... I wear new balance as they fit me great. I want to try hookas but there are always so expensive in comparison to NB even when they are discounted like this deal.

I always thought hookas were relatively inexpensive compared to what you are smoking out of them.

Autocorrect turned my running shoes into a lifestyle choice. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'll leave the typo as it's earning more upvotes than my original question.

The only thing I question on these is how many miles I'll get out of them. Otherwise, this shoe has a lot to offer at this price point. (Lightweight, low heel drop)

I think the reviews would agree with your assessment. Apparently they run small, toebox is narrow, and not very durable.I prefer shoes with lower heel to toe drop these days. Rincon 4 is good for that.My estimation is that it's probably best to size up 0.5.

realistically, probably 50% marketing and hype and 50% quality...

some people are super upset about the price and refuse to buy Hokas because the truth is the thing probably costs the company like maybe $50 to make, and so they make a huge margin.

The more practical side of it is, do you like it and does it give you a better support, better arch, better walk, etc.?

Personally I love my Hokas. I would not pay full retail for one, but at around $90 i'm game and I'm a pretty frugal person.

It really feels more comfortable for me, and seems to making walking less of a strain. And as someone who is short it also makes me look slightly taller LMAO

I also know some people who really dislike how it feels, so it's very much YMMV. Everyone's gait and foot is a bit different.

Worth giving it a try. But having the really thick soft cushion at the bottom definitely makes a difference compared to more flat shoes.

you can get black on black version where you can't see the logo.
